Product Bowl:
The product bowl is constructed of stainless steel with a fluidization plate, 9" ID, bolted at the base. Depending on the product, the fluidization plate can be perforated, sintered, or grid to provide sufficient fluidization.Exhaust Blower:
The fluidization velocity, or airflow, is controlled with a variable speed exhauster.Heater:
An 18 kW electric duct heater adjusts the temperature of the inlet air stream.Dust Collection:
The internal baghouse, four cartridge filters in the upper section, removes the dust from the exhaust air system. The filters are cleaned with an air pulse system (manual or automatic).Instrumentation and Controls:

The
300N, a larger version of our 100N lab fluid bed, dries, agglomerates,
and coats a wide range of particulate materials. The 300N batch
sizes range from 5 L to 20 L. The drying / granulating / coating
process is easily viewed through the upper acrylic section. The
upper acrylic section lifts up to allow the operator to remove
the product bowl.
